Product Description:
The bins are constructed from mild steel which will be hot dip galvanised. The wood used for the slats is Garapa, a sustainably sourced and forested timber from South America. It is an extremely hard and durable timber most often used for decking. The slats are fastened to the steel frame using stainless steel fastenings. A suitable method of fixing the bins in place can be decided and built in to the product.
The slats will be treated in one of two ways depending on your aesthetic.
- We are happy to apply three coats of Rubol Varnish. This will require annual maintenance by your customer in the form of a light sanding and recoating using the same product.
- The timber can be left without any surface coating and will age to a grey colour. This in no way affects the durability of the product and has the advantage of reducing maintenance costs. Cleaning remains easy with detergents and a good quality scrubbing brush.
The product is durable and designed to last! We are happy to offer a 2 year warranty on the products. This warranty will cover any manufacturing or material defects. It will not cover damage from bad handling and or vandalism.
